White Pine Coffee Roasters

Oxford, MI

White Pine Coffee Roasters is a Michigan-owned specialty coffee roastery founded in 2014 by Brad Kopek, Megan Meganck, and head roaster Bryan Meganck. Originally established in southeastern Michigan, the company relocated to Oxford in 2021, transforming a historic 110-year-old grain storage facility into their headquarters, roastery, and café known as "Lumber Camp." The company operates from a beautifully restored building constructed in the early 1900s with local pine timber, perfectly aligning with their brand narrative rooted in Michigan's logging industry from the 1880s to early 1900s. This historical connection is reflected in their product naming, with their six signature blends named after jobs in Michigan's logging industry during that era. White Pine Coffee Roasters is a small batch roaster and purveyor of high-quality specialty coffees sourced fresh from around the world. Their full product line is crafted using the highest expressions of roasting, highlighting the taste and vitality that only seasonally harvested, fresh cropped coffee can deliver. The company strives to present products that customers will be proud to brew, with their passion and purpose showing in every cup. The roastery features a 15kg Joper roaster with cast iron front and back plates and an insulated double-wall drum for efficient and accurate heat transfer. They maintain strict quality control measures to ensure coffees are stored at ideal conditions before and after roasting. Their coffee lab includes a full cupping and tasting room, Marco Ecoboiler, La Marzocco espresso equipment, and various analytical tools for roast color analysis and brewing water diagnostics. White Pine Coffee Roasters operates a retail café that's open Tuesday through Friday from 7 AM to 2 PM and Saturday through Sunday from 7 AM to 3 PM. They offer wholesale services and are known for their signature "Crackalacka" cold brew. The company pairs high-quality coffees with accessible price points for local customers and has grown to become one of the leading specialty coffee roasters in Michigan.
