Aeris Roasting Company

Aeris Roasting Company consists of two brothers, Shawn and Brandon Ensz, who formally started their coffee roasting business in February 2015 in Eastern South Dakota. Before launching the company, they had experimented with coffee brewing and roasting for years, beginning with a stripped-down air popcorn popper in their parents' basement. These early experiments gave them valuable insights into the differences between fresh-roasted coffee and weeks or months-old coffee. In 2015, they invested in a small 6-pound air roaster with the goal of bringing competitively priced, freshly roasted coffee to friends and family. Thanks to loyal supporters and customers, the business has flourished since then. The name "Aeris" comes from the Latin word for air, a reference to their air-roaster. They pronounce it either as "Air-riss" or "ah-rrēs" on international days. The team at Aeris is dedicated to bringing some of the best, competitively priced coffee available to as many people as possible. They carefully source beans from various origins including Ethiopia, Honduras, Peru, Costa Rica, and Guatemala. The company operates from a small roastery in Osceola, South Dakota, and takes pride in their micro-roasted approach to coffee. As they grow into their Roasterie, they're always happy to connect with new customers who want to try their coffee.
