In 2021, Mekki Jaidi of Outpost Group acquired the company, honoring its founding roots while steering it forward. Jaidi, who has a multicultural background with Moroccan and Filipina heritage, moved to Jackson Hole in 2014 and established Outpost, the valley's top vacation rental company. His deep appreciation for community building and local connections made him a natural fit to continue the roastery's legacy. In 2022, under Jaidi's leadership, Snake River Roasting Company opened its first physical cafe location right off Jackson Hole's Town Square. This location serves as more than just a coffee shop – it stands as a symbol of passion, community, and their mission. The cafe embodies the unique essence of high-altitude roasting, featuring meticulous attention to detail in every small batch using precision 22-pound roasters. The company operates both as a retail cafe and wholesale roaster, serving the local Jackson Hole community while providing coffee to wholesale partners.
