PennyCup Coffee Co is a small-batch roaster in Asheville's River Arts District, founded in 2013 by Amber Arthur and Bill Tanner. They roast sustainably sourced coffee at 362 Depot Street, with cafés around town for conversation as much as caffeine. The name nods to the penny universities of the 1800s: a place for coffee, community, and curious conversations.
