Mountaineer Roasting Company is a specialty coffee roaster founded in 2017 on the campus of West Virginia University, dedicated to bringing excellence in coffee to the Mountain State. The company was established with a commitment to roasting and presenting the most exceptional coffees in the Appalachian region. Starting as a campus-based operation, Mountaineer Roasting quickly established itself as a trusted wholesale roaster for several cafes throughout the region. As demand grew, the company outgrew its original campus location and embarked on an expansion project. In February 2021, they opened their first standalone roastery and cafe at 1053 Maple Drive in Morgantown, West Virginia, where they continue to serve their community with dedication and passion. The company's mission centers on advancing specialty coffee in the Appalachian region while maintaining their number one goal of providing customers with the best cup of coffee possible. They pride themselves on ensuring the highest quality product and exceptional customer experience.
