Java Love Coffee Roasting Co. is a woman-owned artisan coffee roasting company founded in 2011 out of a personal mission and passion for community connection and quality coffee. Originally opening in Bethel, NY, the company acquired the assets of Hudson Valley Coffee Roasters Inc., including their classic Dietrich IR-12 roaster, which they moved to their roastery now located in Woodland Park, NJ. The company operates multiple coffee shops throughout Montclair, NJ. Java Love is committed to "Coffee with Integrity," exclusively using organic, Fair Trade, naturally farmed, and Rainforest Alliance certified coffee beans. They roast all their coffee in small batches to maintain the character and quality of each bean, with products bagged and shipped while fresh. The company is dedicated to environmental sustainability, using compostable service items and recycling up to 95% of waste. As part of their community commitment, Java Love donates a portion of profits to local nonprofit and community outreach programs. They have received numerous awards including Morris Essex Readers' Choice Awards and Montclair Magazine Readers' Choice Awards. The company is a proud member of the Specialty Coffee Association, Coffee Roasters Guild, Barista Guild, and is certified as an LGBTBE business.
