This exceptional micro lot from São Sebastian de Grama, Minas Gerais comes from producer Lucia Maria da Silva Dias. The coffee exhibits a distinctive sweetness and lively acidity, uncommon for the region. Grown at elevations between 3100-4800 ft, this Yellow Bourbon varietal delivers notes of brown sugar, sweet citrus, and red fruit. The farm covers almost 900 hectares of predominantly hilly terrain with 239 hectares dedicated to coffee cultivation. Fazenda Santa Alina has established a reputation for consistently producing outstanding specialty coffee, with an average annual production of 5,500 bags mostly from micro-lots. The farm also supports biodiversity with a Eucalyptus plantation and many native trees such as Cercopia, Ipês and Palmito Juçara.
