Blueprint Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster and coffee bar established in 2013 by a group of coffee professionals who sought to create a more transparent approach to serving coffee. Based in Saint Louis, Missouri, the company operates a mutually beneficial relationship loop among producers, vendors, wholesale partners, and customers. With a philosophy that good coffee must be good from the start, Blueprint dedicates significant time to selecting fresh and exciting coffees, maintaining their quality through precise roasting, brewing, and training methods. The company currently operates four locations in St. Louis: the flagship Delmar café, Watson Coffee Bar, High Low Coffee Bar, and their headquarters on 39th Street where roasting takes place. Beyond retail operations, Blueprint has developed a strong wholesale program, partnering with cafés and businesses throughout Missouri and neighboring states. Their commitment to quality extends to their coffee sourcing philosophy, with team members traveling to origin countries to develop direct relationships with producers. Blueprint offers a diverse lineup of single-origin coffees alongside signature blends including Penrose (espresso), Tektōn (filter), Drupe (filter & espresso), and Linear (cold brew). The company has embraced innovation with instant coffee offerings and cold brew products, including their Linear Cold Brew available in cans. They also provide educational opportunities through coffee classes and events, fostering community engagement and coffee knowledge. The founding members continue to guide Blueprint's vision, with the ownership group including the only female member in the specialty coffee ownership space locally.
