Grown in the Jinotega and Matagalpa regions of Nicaragua at elevations of 1,300-1,500 meters, this coffee is sourced through Gold Mountain's direct trade program that provides financial support and technical assistance to farmers. Despite low yields per tree making it less commercially viable, discerning producers maintain small plantings of this variety for its exceptional cup quality, featuring distinctive notes of Fuji apple with a sweet, juicy, and smooth profile.
